Shiva Regmi in serious condition at the hospital

Improvement - Now, Shiva Regmi is in stable condition. When the doctors predicted Shiva not to live more than an hour at 10 AM, film artists and his relatives were asked to gather in the hospital. But, the situation improved and now he is in stable condition.
  
Film artists and well wishers are gathering at the hospital. Friends and family members are also arriving from Chitwan.

For the last ten months, both of Regmi’s kidneys have failed. The doctors are waiting for his condition to improve before kidney transplant can be done.
According to doctors attending director Shiva Regmi at the Bayodha Hospital in Kalanki, he is struggling for the life.

Shiva Regmi was air lifted to Kathmandu when his condition worsened while being treated in Chitwan Medical College Hospital. Both of Regmi’s kidneys had failed and he was being prepared for kidney transplant at the hospital in New Delhi, India.

According to producer, cinematographer and Director, Raju KC, who is at the hospital, the doctors have told that Regmi’s condition is not good. In a Facebook post, KC has asked all the film related personals to go to the hospital.

Regmi’s two movies – ‘Parai’ and ‘Manle Manlai Chuncha’ are in the process of release.  ‘Parai’ is scheduled to release on Poush 26, 2070.

Loafer release and Rekha and Chhabi relationship

Well known producer, Chhabi Raj Ojha is releasing his new movie ‘Loafer’ on December 6, 2013. The movie poses both challenge to Chhabi in various aspects. There are a few first times attached to the movie. To name some:

    ‘Loafer’ :  is the first movie by Chhabi without Rekha after their decade long relationship.
    features a new actress, Rajani KC, in lead role. In the past, Rekha used to be in lead by default.
    is the first movie under Chhabiraj Films witout any attachment with Rekha Films. (The first movie jointly by Chhabiraj Films and Rekha Films was ‘Hamesha’)
    is the first movie by Chhabi targeted to multiplex theaters.

So far, at least for the last decade, Rekha had always been by Chhabi’s side when his movies were being released. This is the first time Rekha is not with Chhabi. In fact, she has even left the country to show her movie ‘Kali‘ in Hong Kong. Although the show is in Hong Kong is scheduled for December 8, Rekha had departed 5 days earlier. Chhabi had helped Rekha’s ‘Kali’ and had postponed ‘Loafer’ release date to accommodate the release of ‘Kali’ during the Dashain holiday season. But, at the time when Chhabi releases his movie, Rekha has left country just in time to miss the big day.

In case, ‘Loafer’ didn’t do well in theater – Chhabi will have tough time explaining the reasons.

Raju Giri’s new movie ‘Tiger- The Real Hero’ announced

One of the most controversial directors of Nepali film industry, Raju Giri is directing a new move titled ‘Tiger- The Real Hero’. The movie being produced by the ‘Miss Nepal’ producer Subhkshya Thapa with Mohan Krishna Shrestha features Ashok Phuyal, Divyeshowr Gautam, Suraj Ranabhat, Amit Pal, Subhkshya Thapa, Sushmita Shahi , Samichhya Aryal, Sushil Pokharel etc. in main role.

In an event held in a Chinese restaurant in Civil Trade Center, Kathmandu, the new movie was inaugurated and the music album of upcoming movie ‘Miss Nepal’ was also released . A video report of the program is attached:

‘Tiger- The Real Hero’ is made on the story of Sushil Pokharel. The movie features action of Roshan Shrestha, choreography of Ramji Lamichane and music of Arjun Pokharel.

Raju Giri’s ‘Bindaas 2′ was recently released. The producer and actress Subhkshya’s ‘Miss Nepal’ is going to release soon.

Namrata Shrestha to be featured in an item dance of Adhakatti

In an upcoming movie ‘Adhakatti’ actress Namrata Shrestha is going to be featured in an item dance. The debut movie of film journalist Subrat Acharya as a director, the movie will feature the item song titled ‘Namrata …’ on the voice of Nisha Deshar, Yubraj Chaulagain and Rajan Ishan. The music of the song is composed by Rajan Ishan.

Although there has been a lot of talk about the movie being produced by Pradeep Kumar Uday,  the shooting is yet start. The film maker team and the director has assured that the shooting is starting this week. The delay in shooting is attributed to the festival season and the recently concluded CA election. ‘Adhakatti’ features Wilson Bikram Rai, Gaurav Pahadi, Pradeep Bastola and Rista Basnet in leading roles.

In the movies these days, item dance and item songs have become an integral parts of entertainment. They are used to attract viewers to theaters. After the success of ‘Udhreko Choli…’ in "Loot‘ film makers have started to choose songs with dual-meaning words in the item songs.

Director Shiva Regmi air lifted to Kathmandu in serious condition

Well known Nepali film director Shiva Regmi is fighting for life in a hospital in Balkhu. He was being treated in Chitwan when the condition worsened and was air-lifted to Kathmandu in an air ambulance on Wednesday.

While being treated for pneumonia in the ICU of Chitwan Medical College Hospital. The plan to take him to India for treatment was also postponed because of the worsening health condition.

Shiva Regmi fell ill when he was in Chitwan for Dashain tika. Both of his kidneys have failed and he is waiting for kidney transplantation. The transplantation scheduled on the first week of Mangsir in a Delhi hospital was postponed because of high pneumonia. Regmi’s younger brother has agreed to donate his kidney for his brother.

Regmi is known for directing popular movies like ‘Afanta’, ‘Afno Manche’, ‘Hami Teen Bhai‘, ‘Ae Mero Hajur’ and ‘Kaha Bhetiyale’.

Rajesh Hamal debuted in a theater in Anup Baral’s Court Martial

For the first time in his acting career the top actor of Nepali movie industry, Rajesh Hamal, has done a theater play. The play titled ‘Court Martial’ has started in Theater Village on Friday, November 22. The first show was done only for the press and will be open for the general public starting Saturday.

   The play featuring  Rajesh Hamal, Dayahang Rai, Deeya Maskey, BS Rana, Karma, Subash Thapa and others is directed by Anup Baral. The play is written by an Indian writer, Swadesh Deepak, has been played for more than 4,000 times in four South Asian countries.

The play about ‘a tale about poetic justice’ is a presentation of Actors’ Studio. The play is played at 5:00 from November 23 to December 2 and December 9 to December 22 at Theater Village, Tej Bhawan, Lazimpat, Kathamdu.

Hari Bansha Acharya sang a song in ‘Chha Ekan Chha’

The ‘Ha’ of MaHa, Hari Bansha Acharya had sung a song in an upcoming movie ‘Chha Ekan Chha’. The comedy movie produced by Deepak Raj Giri features popular comedy actors in leading roles. The song titled ‘Mero Maya Timilai’ also features the voice of another comedy actor, Kiran KC.

For Hari Bansha, it wasn’t easy singing after a long gap. In the past, he had given voice to a number of songs and had also released a music album. The recording was done on the second week of November.

‘Chha Ekan Chha’ is a production of Deepak Raj Giri and is being directed by Dinesh DC. The movie features six popular comedy actors in leading roles.

Apart from acting and singing, Hari Bansha has also proved to be a fine writer after the instant success of his biography ‘China Harayako Manche’.

Chha Ekan Chha to release on January 10

The ‘Chha Ekan Chha’ film unit organized a press meet at Union House, Anamnagar, Kathmandu to announce the release date of the movie. The movie is scheduled to release on Poush 26 (January 10, 2013).

    Talking about he movie, the producer and the writer of the movie, Deepak Raj Giri told that the movie is a totally entertainment movie. He promised, "The movie will bind the viewers in seat for 2:15 hours.

The co-producer and assistant director Deepa Shree Niraula stated that the movie is the result of the investment of "all the name and credit" they have gained so far in the entertainment industry. Actor and co-producer Nirmal Sharma told that the movie is the result of the experience he has gained by producing half-a-dozen flop films. Although he doesn’t expect the movie to be super-hit, he expect it to do a satisfactory business.

There are six leading actors and one lead actress – Neeta Dhungana, in ‘Chha Ekan Chha’. Actor Shiva Hari Poudel (Mukhama Hannu Jasto)expressed his satisfaction to do a leading actor role at the age of 47. Another actor Sandip Chhetri also expressed his satisfaction on his role as a leading actor. Other leading actors include Jitu Nepal (Mundre), Kedar Ghimire (Magne Budho), Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus) and Deepak Raj Giri. Neeta claimed that the movie has become the best movie she has done so far.

The movie directed by Dinesh DC features the script of Jagadishowr Thapa and music of Sambhujit Baskota. The title song of the movie is recorded on the voice of Hari Bansha Acharya, Kiran KC and the director Dinesh DC.
