Sona files cheating case against Venkat Prabhu

Actress Sona who filed a molestation case on Producer-Singer S P Charan, son of Veteran Playback singer S P Balasubramanyam last year has now lodged a complaint with the South Indian Film Artistes Association (Nadigar Sangam) against director Venkat Prabhu claiming that he has to pay a huge amount of money to her. She even asked the officials to ban Venkat Prabhu's forthcoming film 'Biriyani' until the sum is paid.

In her complaint, the actress said that she paid advance to the director to make a movie for her production house, after he completed Goa. However, Venkat Prabhu neither did a film for me nor he repaid the advance. This has caused huge losses for me," she said.

The Nadigar Sangam has forwarded the complaint to the Producers Council. It is to be noted that Venkat Prabhu's Biriyani starring Karthi, Hansika and Santhanam is slated to hit screens on December 20th.
